Subject: Seeking certified information under RTI Act, 2005 regarding false dowry and extortion complaint filed by wife and her family members against me (husband) and my family, investigated at CAW Cell Nanakpura.

Details of Case:
I, the undersigned, was married to Ms. Priya Malhotra on 15 February 2024 at Shiv Mandir Hall, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. Within a few months of marriage, my wife and her family members — Mr. Rajesh Malhotra (father), Mrs. Sunita Malhotra (mother), and Mr. Kunal Malhotra (brother) — started pressurizing me and my family to transfer my father’s Janakpuri house into her name, and demanded ₹25 lakhs cash. On refusal, they filed a false complaint dated 10 January 2025 at CAW Cell Nanakpura alleging dowry harassment under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC. The complaint is malafide, filed only to extort property and money.

Information Sought:
Kindly provide certified copies / information on the following points under RTI Act, 2005:

  1. Certified copy of the false dowry complaint filed by Ms. Priya Malhotra and her family members on 10.01.2025 at CAW Cell Nanakpura.
  2. Diary/Complaint Number allotted to this case and certified copy of Daily Diary (DD) entry.
  3. Name, designation, and mobile number of Investigating Officer (IO) assigned to this complaint.
  4. Certified copy of notices issued to me (husband) and my family under Section 41A CrPC or any other legal provision.
  5. Certified copy of mediation proceedings conducted by CAW Cell in this complaint — dates, attendance, and minutes.
  6. Provide details of any settlement/conciliation offers recorded by CAW Cell officials between 10.01.2025 and 31.01.2025.
  7. Certified copy of statements recorded of wife, her father, mother, and brother under Section 161 CrPC.

  27. Provide details whether wife’s brother Kunal Malhotra threatened me at CAW Cell premises; certified copy of DD entry (if recorded).
  28. Certified copy of CCTV footage of CAW Cell Nanakpura dated 17.01.2025 between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm when threats were given.
  29. Provide details whether police protection request by me was noted in CAW Cell records.
  30. Certified copy of protection request application filed by me and police action taken thereon.
  31. Provide certified copy of any medical reports of alleged injuries produced by complainant.

  59. Provide details whether wife’s family demanded property transfer during mediation — certified copy of mediation notes.

  61. Provide details whether accused wife and her family tried to compromise on condition of money/property transfer.
