Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested four people, including the wife of a 45-year-old utensil trader, Umashankar Kaushal alias Guddu, and her alleged lover, in connection with his murder in Pratapgarh.

According to an India Today report published on October 17, the trader’s body was found in a pit near the Shitalmau canal on Thursday. Police suspect he was killed after opposing his wife’s alleged relationship with another man. The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations must be established in court.
