Subject: Information under RTI Act, 2005 regarding Complaint No. 128/2025 dated 03.09.2025 on harassment and unpaid dowry

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Mrs. Kavita Bansal, resident of Flat No. 19, Block C, Vikaspuri Extension, Janakpuri, Delhi – 110058, had filed Complaint No. 128/2025 on 3rd September 2025 before CAW Cell, Janakpuri against my husband Mr. Rohan Bansal and his family members for harassment, repeated dowry demands, and denial of my rightful stridhan jewellery and cash gifts from parents.

Despite providing detailed evidence including bank transfer receipts, photographs of jewellery, and witness statements from relatives, IO SI Sunita Rathi did not take proper action to register FIR under IPC Sections 498A/406. Multiple hearings (5th Sept, 12th Sept, and 19th Sept 2025) were scheduled, but no progress has been recorded and I was repeatedly asked to compromise.

Kindly provide certified information under the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points:

1. Certified copy of Complaint No. 128/2025 dated 03.09.2025 along with annexures submitted by me.
2. Certified copy of hearing notices issued to respondents (Mr. Rohan Bansal & family) and acknowledgment of receipt.
3. Certified copy of inquiry notes, reports, and recommendations prepared by IO SI Sunita Rathi.
4. Certified copy of the list of stridhan articles submitted/acknowledged in the complaint file.
5. Certified copy of reasons recorded for non-registration of FIR under Sections 498A/406 IPC despite strong evidence.
6. Total number of matrimonial complaints received at CAW Cell Janakpuri in 2024 and 2025 (till September 2025), and number of FIRs registered.
7. Certified copy of supervisory remarks of ACP, CAW Cell West District, on Complaint No. 128/2025.
