Subject: Information under RTI Act, 2005 regarding Complaint No. 87/2025 dated 05.04.2025 (inaction by CAW Cell in matrimonial dispute)

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Mr. Raghav Mehta, resident of Flat No. 103, Shalimar Tower, Patel Nagar (West), New Delhi – 110008, was falsely implicated in a dowry harassment complaint filed by my wife Mrs. Priya Mehta on 5th April 2025 at CAW Cell, Kirti Nagar (Diary No. 87/2025). I was called for an appearance on 18.04.2025, but the IO simply took oral statements without providing me any copy of the allegations. Till date, neither have I been given certified documents of the complaint nor has any inquiry report been shared with me.

This deliberate delay has caused harassment and mental agony. Therefore, kindly provide the following certified information under the RTI Act, 2005:

1. Certified copy of Complaint No. 87/2025 dated 05.04.2025 along with annexures submitted by the complainant.
2. Certified copy of attendance register showing complainant’s and respondent’s presence on 18.04.2025.
3. Certified copy of notings, comments, and daily diary entries made by the Inquiry Officer SI Poonam Yadav on the file.
4. Certified copy of any recommendation made to lodge FIR or reasons recorded for delay in FIR registration.
5. Total number of matrimonial complaints received at CAW Cell, Kirti Nagar, between January–April 2025, and how many were disposed within 60 days.
6. Certified copy of supervisory notes written by ACP (CAW), West District, in relation to Complaint No. 87/2025.
7. Certified copy of CAW Cell Kirti Nagar guidelines or standing orders on providing case documents to the respondents.
