Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Mrs. Ritu Mehra, wife of Mr. Ankit Mehra, resident of A-78, Ramesh Nagar, New Delhi – 110015, lodged Complaint No. 142/2025 dated 3rd June 2025 at CAW Cell Kirti Nagar regarding harassment and unlawful retention of my dowry jewellery by my husband and in-laws.

During multiple counseling sessions in June 2025, the IO W/SI Anjali Singh noted that my in-laws admitted possession of jewellery items but have refused to return them. Despite clear directions given by the ACP West District on 15.06.2025, no compliance report or seizure has been made. This delay appears to be intentional, allowing the accused to sell or hide my jewellery.

Kindly provide certified information under the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points:

1. Certified copy of Complaint No. 142/2025 dated 03.06.2025 with annexures (list of jewellery, bills, marriage photos).
2. Certified copy of statements recorded of accused family members regarding the jewellery in June 2025.
3. Certified copy of IO diary entries maintained by W/SI Anjali Singh between 03.06.2025 and 25.06.2025.
4. Certified copy of ACP West District’s written directions dated 15.06.2025 regarding recovery of jewellery.
5. Certified copy of any seizure memo prepared or reason for not seizing dowry articles till date.
6. Certified copy of SHO Kirti Nagar’s recommendation/remarks on my complaint file.
7. Details of matrimonial complaints received at CAW Cell Kirti Nagar in 2024–2025 (till June 2025) specifically about non-return of dowry jewellery.
8. Certified copy of disciplinary complaints received against IOs of CAW Cell Kirti Nagar for inaction in matrimonial disputes during 2024–2025.
