Subject: Information under RTI Act, 2005 regarding Complaint No. 213/2025 dated 05.11.2025 on harassment and unpaid dowry

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Mrs. Neha Agarwal, resident of Flat No. 56, Pocket C, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi – 110092, had filed Complaint No. 213/2025 on 5th November 2025 before CAW Cell, Laxmi Nagar against my husband Mr. Rajeev Agarwal and his family members for harassment, unpaid dowry, and mental cruelty. Despite providing evidence including bank receipts of promised dowry, photographs, and witness statements, IO SI Seema Sharma did not take effective action to recover the dowry or register an FIR under IPC Sections 498A/406.

During scheduled hearings (8th Nov, 15th Nov, and 22nd Nov 2025), no substantial action was taken. I was advised repeatedly to compromise with the respondents despite sufficient evidence of harassment and dowry violation.

Kindly provide certified information under the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points:

1. Certified copy of Complaint No. 213/2025 dated 05.11.2025 along with annexures submitted by me.
2. Certified copy of hearing notices issued to respondents (Mr. Rajeev Agarwal & family) and acknowledgment of receipt.
3. Certified copy of inquiry notes, reports, and recommendations prepared by IO SI Seema Sharma.
4. Certified copy of list of evidence submitted (bank receipts, photographs, witness statements).
5. Certified copy of reasons recorded for non-registration of FIR under IPC Sections 498A/406 despite strong evidence.
6. Total number of matrimonial complaints received at CAW Cell Laxmi Nagar in 2024 and 2025 (till November 2025), and number of FIRs registered.
7. Certified copy of supervisory remarks of ACP, CAW Cell East District, on Complaint No. 213/2025.
