Subject: Information under RTI Act, 2005 regarding Complaint No. 187/2025 dated 10.12.2025 on harassment, physical abuse, and child custody violation

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Mrs. Ritu Sharma, resident of Flat No. 101, Block D, Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Delhi – 110091, had filed Complaint No. 187/2025 on 10th December 2025 before CAW Cell, Mayur Vihar against my husband Mr. Ajay Sharma and his family for repeated harassment, physical abuse, and unlawful denial of custody of my 4-year-old son. Despite providing medical reports, photographs of injuries, school records, and witness statements, IO SI Neelam Verma did not register an FIR or facilitate custody recovery.

During hearings held on 12th Dec, 19th Dec, and 26th Dec 2025, no concrete action was taken. I was repeatedly advised to “settle amicably” despite strong evidence of abuse, making the matter worse for my child and myself.

Kindly provide certified information under the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points:

1. Certified copy of Complaint No. 187/2025 dated 10.12.2025 along with annexures submitted by me.
2. Certified copy of hearing notices issued to respondents (Mr. Ajay Sharma & family) and acknowledgment of receipt.
3. Certified copy of inquiry reports, notes, and recommendations prepared by IO SI Neelam Verma.
4. Certified copy of medical reports, photographs, and school records submitted as evidence.
5. Certified copy of reasons recorded for non-registration of FIR under Sections 498A/323/406 IPC and for non-action on child custody.
6. Total number of matrimonial complaints received at CAW Cell Mayur Vihar in 2024 and 2025 (till December 2025), and number of FIRs registered.
7. Certified copy of supervisory remarks of ACP, CAW Cell East District, on Complaint No. 187/2025.
