Subject: Information under RTI Act, 2005 regarding Complaint No. 578/2025 dated 08.05.2025 (delayed inquiry / non-action)

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Ms. Simran Bhardwaj, resident of House No. A-999, Malviya Nagar (Colony), New Delhi – 110017, had filed a written complaint (Receipt No. CAW/SKT/578/2025) at CAW Cell, Saket on 8th May 2025 against my husband Mr. Ajay Bhardwaj alleging matrimonial harassment and illegal seizure of jointly owned household property. Despite submission of supporting documents (marriage certificate, joint electricity bills, property tax receipts and photographs) on the same day, the CAW Cell has neither provided a copy of the inquiry proceedings nor communicated any interim findings. I have visited the CAW Cell on 21.05.2025 and 04.06.2025 but was only given verbal assurances; no written action report has been provided.

Under the RTI Act, 2005, please provide certified information on the following points:

1. Certified copy of Complaint No. 578/2025 filed on 08.05.2025 (including the original complaint form and annexures submitted by me).
2. Certified copy of attendance/entry register showing my visits and the dates 21.05.2025 and 04.06.2025.
3. Certified copy of all notings, inquiry entries, and diary/case file notings prepared by SI Meera Rathore (Investigating Officer) and any other officer in relation to Complaint No. 578/2025.
4. Certified copy of the preliminary inquiry report (if prepared) or a written statement explaining why no inquiry report has been issued till date.
5. Details (name, rank, contact number) of supervisory officers who reviewed or were assigned to supervise the inquiry in this matter (ACP/SHO/Dy. Commissioner level) and dates of such supervisory reviews.
6. Certified copy of any recommendation made by CAW Cell, Saket to register an FIR or to refer the matter to appropriate police station/authority — if no recommendation was made, provide reasons recorded in writing.
7. Certified copy of CAW Cell Saket’s internal guidelines for handling matrimonial complaints, including time-lines for completing preliminary inquiry and issuing interim reports (if such guidelines exist).
8. Information on the number of matrimonial harassment complaints received by CAW Cell, Saket in 2024 and 2025 (till 31.05.2025) and the number of preliminary inquiries completed within 30 days in the same period.
